~ Meet the Staff of Optical Eyeland ~
 JULIE PINCKNEY BAYLY L.D.O
Julie has been the owner of Optical Eyeland since 2001. Julie took ownership after her father, Jim, decided to take an early retirement. Julie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Florida State University. After joining her father in 2001, Julie went back to school to receive her Opticianry Degree from Hillsborough Community College. Julie is a board certified Florida Optician and has her National ABO and NCLE certifications.
Julie has a talent for fashion. Do you have a problem picking out your frame and lenses? Let her do the job for you. She specializes in coordinating frame shape and color with a patient's skin tone and face shape. Outside of work, Julie enjoys traveling, boating, playing piano and spending time with family and friends.

 BRIAN T. PINCKNEY L.D.O
Brian graduated from Florida Sate University with a double degree in Entrepreneurship/ Small Business Management and Marketing in 2001. He joined Optical Eyeland in August 2003 after deciding to follow his father's footsteps and continue the family tradition of opticianry. Brian attended Hillsborough Community College for 2 years where he completed his opticianry degree in July 2005.
Brian specializes in fitting specialty contact lenses. Brian has a large knowledge of contacts on the market and will find lenses that fit your lifestyle. He has a passion for helping patients whether they hate glasses or just want to get out of glasses for special occasions. When not working, Brian enjoys traveling, backpacking, scuba diving and wake boarding.

 JIM E. PINCKNEY L.D.O.
Began his career with Optical Eyeland in 1986. He grew our practice to the Eyeland that is today. Jim has been a licensed optician for over 35 years and continues to work with his children Julie and Brian. In 2001, Jim decided to start his retirement early and travel with his wife, Elaine.
Although Jim has cut his hours at the office, he is teaching Opticianry at Hillsborough Community College.

 BEATRIZ VALLE – Apprentice Optician
Beatriz has been working at Optical Eyeland since 2006. She is currently working on becoming a Florida licensed optician. She is responsible for assisting customers with their insurance questions as well as with their frame selection.
Beatriz has a passion for frame fashions. She loves helping patients change their look and gives them individualized attention. Beatriz loves to spend time with family and friends and loves to travel.

 LORI ALLEN – Apprentice Optician
Lori Allen has been working at Optical Eyeland since October 2008. She worked with us 20 years ago, but recently relocated back to the Apopka area. Lori is currently working on her apprenticeship and her Florida license.
Lori is great at making patients feel comfortable with their frame and lens purchase. She analyzes their needs which allow her to customize their eyewear. Lori enjoys spending time with her children, reading and traveling.

 ROBERT PRADO O. D.
Robert has been with Optical Eyeland since 2001. He was born in Costa Rica and lived there for a year when his parents moved to the United States. Robert has been practicing in the Central Florida area since 1989. He examines children and adults starting at the age of 5. He feels it is very important for children and adults to get their eyes examined once a year.
Dr. Prado specializes in Comprehensive Eye Exams, Optometric Management of Ocular Disease, Contact Lens fittings and evaluations. Dr. Prado and his wife have two children.
